About Therapeutic Foster Care (WATCH)

The WATCH program, Western Arkansas Therapeutic Children’s Homes, provides therapeutic foster care for children who need a higher level of support than traditional foster care can offer. Many of these children are facing significant behavioral, emotional, or developmental challenges and need a safe, structured, and nurturing home environment.

WATCH foster parents receive extensive training and ongoing support from our clinical team. They are never alone in this work. Our team provides 24/7 backup, regular in-home visits, and therapeutic services to help support both the child and the foster family.

Our goal is always healing, stability, and permanency. When possible, we work toward reunification with birth families. When reunification is not possible, we help children move toward a safe, loving, forever family.

Who Is This For?

  • Children removed from their homes who are in DCFS care
  • Kids with significant behavioral or emotional challenges
