About Family Centered Treatment

When families are in crisis and a child is at risk of being removed from the home, Family Centered Treatment (FCT) provides intensive, in-home intervention to keep families together safely.

FCT therapists work directly in your home, meeting with your family multiple times per week. We address the specific challenges your family faces—whether that's behavioral issues, parenting skills, communication, or family dynamics.

Our goal is to build your family's strengths while developing practical skills to manage challenges. We want your family to thrive long after our involvement ends.

Families in FCT receive a high level of support each week. On average, families meet with their therapist at least 2 times per week for 4 or more hours of support. Services usually last around 6 months, but this can vary based on each family’s needs. To make sure families get the time and attention they deserve, each FCT therapist works with only a small number of families at one time.
