Community Support Program
		Persons who meet the criteria for classification as Seriously Mentally Ill are eligible for additional services. This primarily involves the assistance of a community support specialist to aid in the necessities of successful community integration. Some of those clients considered seriously mentally ill may meet additional criteria for involvement in the N.E.W. Center. This is a "clubhouse" model facility, located in Fort Smith, in which members are involved in the day-to-day operations of the program. Supported employment opportunities and some housing opportunities are available to N.E.W. members. A similar program is offered in Ozark at the Opportunity House, as well as adult day treatment programs in Waldron and Mena. N.E.W. Center 3109 S. 70th Fort Smith, AR (479)452-9490
