		For over 30 years, Western Arkansas Counseling and Guidance Center has served individuals of all ages and incomes, striving always to maintain a comprehensive network of quality behavioral health care services. The Center guards the trust of The Community and strives to instill confidence. An impeccable standard is upheld, with the help of trained and dedicated professional staff members. Western Arkansas Counseling and Guidance Center has always and will continue to sustain close communication with affiliated community resources in the counties of Crawford, Franklin, Logan, Mena, Paris, Polk, Scott, Sebastian, and Waldron. The Center offers complete services in mental health care, including, but not limited to: Behavioral Healthcare; Counseling; Testing; Treatment of Mental Health Disorders; Outpatient Services; Medication Management; 24 hour acute care, and our Mobile Crisis team is ready when called, to provide counselors and comfort to victims of man-made and natural disasters. Our facilities are staffed by counselors and educators who, with community resources, enable our programs to function in the areas of community education. We offer career opportunities, seeking the finest professionals to join the Western Arkansas Counseling and Guidance Center program staffs. Participating psychologists and psychiatrists offer treatment in mental health disorders, including : Bipolar; depression, eating disorders, and anxiety, to name only a few. In addition, specific programs offer therapy and/or interdisciplinary treatment for those suffering from co-dependency, chemical dependency, chronic mental illness, and the effects of sexual abuse. Our information and education offerings extend to marriage counseling and education, parenting education and guidance for teen moms. Individual and group treatment with psychoeducational focus is offered. We are attentive to the needs of physical well being as well, thus fulfilling our pledge to serve the whole person. We will continue to instill our programs with client driven, non judgmental, hopeful and empowering values. The Center has developed programs such as Christian Care, W.A.T.C.H. (Western Arkansas Therapeutic Children's Homes) and Horizon (chemical dependency). The Center is without exception, dedicated to high business and ethical standards, maintaining a code of conduct and corporate compliance.
