Community Relations Serves as Our Foundation

Community Relations serves as the foundation of the Western Arkansas Counseling and Guidance Center's prevention services. The Center offers behavioral healthcare education and information services to the communities served. Community Relations makes available to the community agencies the expertise of our behavioral health staff. Our qualified staff helps to broaden and enrich their programs; and simultaneously furthers the influence and impact of the Center's services.

The Center is focused on providing consumer-centered care. Our Communication Plan is responsive to the changing needs of the Center's consumers. Recognizing that everyone is unique in many ways, the Communication Plan fosters the use of creative options in providing public information and education, as well as consumer education on all aspects of behavioral healthcare services, including methods for accessing emergent, acute and routine care.
