"I consider my board appointment an honor and an obligation taken willingly and with an open mind. I hold a position of public trust that involves community and state money and the delivery of behavioral healthcare services to real living, breathing people, not merely statistics. I owe this public trust honesty and integrity in my dealings with the mental health system with no thought of personal gain, monetary or otherwise. I owe my center and the system I represent my time and commitment to become knowledgeable and effective to the best of my abilities in  order to  better advocate for community-based care. Board membership is a unique opportunity to learn and grow, an invaluable education and experience with a great opportunity to do much to help those in real need. I doing so, we are the ones who gain the most."

The Board meets on the third Friday of each month in the Center's Conference Room at 3111 South 70th St.
