The ChristianCare staff have adopted the faith statement of the Christian Association for Psychological Studies (CAPS) which states: "The basis of CAPS is belief in God, the Father, who creates and sustains us; Jesus Christ, the son, who redeems and rules us; the Holy Spirit, who guides us personally and professionally, through God's inspired Word, the Bible, our infallible guide of faith and conduct, and through the communion of Christians." • Available Services • Intake Assessment • Diagnosis • Individual Psychotherapy • Family Psychotherapy • Testing Medication • Evaluation • 24-Hour Crisis Services • Continued Care • Consultation Services • Fitness Center Discounts Many church members are hesitant to utilize needed counseling services from professionals because of fear that their important Christian beliefs will be undermined. To aid churches in meeting their members' needs for a Christ-centered therapy, we have developed ChristianCare. ChristianCare is a program designed to provide services that specifically utilize the healing elements of a person's Christian faith. It is available for any member of a sponsoring church. ChristianCare is modeled on employee assistance programs offered by many corporations. An approach is utilized which encourages quick resolution of problems before they become overwhelming. This is accomplished by churches prepaying for a limited number of visits per family unit. Prepayment allows individually contracted services. For instance, a church of 50 family units could cover everyone for the cost of one therapy session per month. How the Program Works Each church that contracts with ChristianCare has available for their members three visits per family unit per year of the contract. A list of all covered member families will determine who is eligible for the program. These visits are prepaid, so the covered members are not charged for their initial three visits. After the contract visits, the member may elect to continue services as a Center Client. If so, the additional services will be billed to the member. For More Information To discuss ChristanCare in more depth, or to ask further questions, please call (479) 452-6650 and ask for any of the ChristianCare Staff. NOTE: All services are confidential and information will not be released without the client's written permission. |
