WATCH Program

Western Arkansas Therapeutic Children’s Homes

Children come to the WATCH program abused and frightened, experiencing emotional and behavioral problems. WATCH is a therapeutic foster care program that provides an environment to help these children heal from experiences which threaten to rob them of their childhood.

WATCH provides temporary substitute family care for children when their own families are unable or unwilling to care for them. The goal of the program is to successfully reunite children with their own families whenever possible.

The key to the program’s success is the therapeutic foster family. Through well-established networks, foster parents receive support and training from the WATCH staff who work together with the foster parents, children and, in some cases, their natural families.

There is always a need for caring, qualified therapeutic foster parents at WATCH. If you are willing to open your heart and your home, please contact Jackie Scarborough, Special Services Coordinator at 479.484.0059 or by email at Jackie.Scarborough@wacgc.org.
