For 40 years, The Guidance Center has offered quality behavioral healthcare to thousands of children and families in western Arkansas. We see children ranging in age from pre-school aged through adolescence for emotional, behavioral, mental and developmental disorders. Family involvement is a vital component of the treatment process for any child receiving counseling and treatment services.
Horizon offers a unique, one-of-a-kind treatment program for teens aged 13-17 years old. Horizon offers both an outpatient and inpatient (residential) treatment program for adolescents with co-occurring disorders. A co-occurring disorder means that an individual has both a psychiatric and a substance abuse disorder.
