Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) is a proactive volunteer clearinghouse that recruits and connects active adults 55 years of age and over with a variety of volunteer opportunities throughout the community. Direct services to the community are provided through RSVP Community Outreach.

Who Are Our Volunteers?

The 800 men and women who come through RSVP's doors each year, represent a cross-section of western Arkansas' diverse communities. They are people like you who have a little more time and a lot more experience to give and the energy and passion to make a difference.

Where Do Our Volunteers Serve?

Our partners range from volunteer run charities such as the Children's Service League (which clothes needy Ft. Smith school children) and the Summit Medical Center Auxiliary in Van Buren to organization's such as the Helping Hands in Bentonville and the Madison County Senior Activity Center in Huntsville.  Our cadres of community volunteers serve as volunteers in schools, community centers, hospitals, museums - nearly 100 community organizations!

Why Do RSVP Volunteers Get Involved?

Many volunteers have lived in their communities for a long time. Because the community has given them so much, they see serving as a way to give something back.
